External mains and district heating live underground, so we run our own ground works team - excavation, directional drilling and civils stay under our programme, not a subcontractor’s.
At Kingston Hill we directional-drilled a 500m gas main at roughly 1m depth, then proved it with a foam pig and remote camera. In-house civils is why our district heating programmes hold.
